House shoes help police make arrest
Corpus Christi police arrested a 21-year-old man early Thursday in a department store burglary in the 4300 block of Ayers Street.
Police found the front door of the store shattered and a pair of house shoes by the broken door.
A police officer found Rayhomero Ramirez about a block away wearing socks without shoes.
Police detained Ramirez and made the arrest after reviewing store surveillance video.
Police are searching for another man they believe was involved in the burglary.
Ramirez was arrested on suspicion of burglary of a building and is being held in the Nueces County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
